What will the left do to retain their power? I think it’s perfectly clear that they will stop at nothing to stay in control of the government. This is evident in reference to all the bogus accusations of wrongdoing leveled against Trump over the last few years. Accusations that they knew were bogus.

And now the left sees a considerable threat coming their way. A red wave heading toward the November elections that is embodied in the enormous enthusiasm exhibited by an increasing number of people attending Trump rallies. That, along with Biden’s dismal approval rating, spells a resounding defeat for the Democrats in November. From the horrendous exit in Afghanistan to the escalating violence in the US due to defunding police to high inflation and our dependency on foreign oil the left has nothing much that is positive to run on.

So, what is the left planning to do about their severely compromised position? One way or another they cannot allow for a Republican House and Senate. Rigging the election would not be possible if a red tsunami materializes. So, what are their options?

The left is, of course, not without resources. Woke-ness is institutionalized throughout the populace and officialdom.

Mainstream media and many, if not most educational institutions are woke-oriented.

We know that the FBI, the CIA and the military are woke to a considerable extent. And the woke IRS has been buying and hoarding ammunition and acquiring an arsenal of firearms which they have now been authorized to use against US citizens to make arrests. Their targets will most assuredly be folks on the right.

Then there’s Biden’s address to the nation. His speech was as grim, ominous and threatening as the theatrical set behind him, featuring a military presence. He declared the MAGA movement, which he has described as “semi-fascist”, to be anti-democracy and anti-constitutional. The MAGA constituency pose an imminent threat to America, Biden intimated, and that makes them enemies of the state.

This could certainly be construed as preparing the way for the left to “save” the country by mounting a forceful takeover.

But that is so unbelievable, so preposterous that we don’t even want to think of the possibility.

And that puts a smile on Chuck Schumer’s face.

I have no doubt that the lefties have such a scheme in mind. At least as a last resort.

And if it ever came to fruition would you be okay with it? Even welcome and applaud it?

But if it ever happens, watch your back. Because there will never be any way for anyone to be certain that they will be considered woke enough for those who wield the power. You will always be at the mercy of a capricious bunch who must continually flex their authoritarian muscles by constantly defining new criteria for naming enemies of the state that they will persecute and prosecute. There will be no protection for you under the law. Because the law will be whatever the powers say it is at any given time.

So, be careful what you wish for.
